Agapanthus Clusters

This week at Less is More, we're challenged to make a one layer card featuring our favourite flower...hmm...I don't really have a favourite flower in 'real life'...but this 'Agapanthus Clusters' stamp by Stampendous is one of my favourite single flower stamps. I used Distress Inks (Chipped Sapphire, Dusty Concord, Forest Moss & Mown Lawn) and the watercolour technique...painting the inks directly on to the stamp, then spritzing with water before stamping. I doodled a border, then added a sentiment (from the 'Big Messages' set by Paula Pascual).

I love the definition and vibrant colour that you got with the spritzing technique...I can find that a challenge! Lots of beautiful white space and your doodled border is perfection. Great to see you at Less is More, Helen :)

You doodled that border? Great job! Every time I doodle a border it looks like an 8th grader did it!
